Bulacan cop surrenders, confesses to drug pushing

CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan—A Bulacan policeman assigned to the City of Malolos surrendered on Monday afternoon  and confessed he has been involved in illegal drug pushing.

PO3 Rogelio Sta. Ana surrendered to Senior Supt. Romeo Caramat Jr., OIC Bulacan police director, saying he was concerned about being targeted by vigilantes.

Sta. Ana turned himself in following the murder of PO3 Michael Lee Manalad last July 7 in Meycauayan City.

Sta. Ana was accompanied by Mayor Christian Natividad, Caramat told the Inquirer. RAM/rga
