Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. has asked furlough from the Sandiganbayan to undergo dental procedures even as he remains detained for plunder over the pork barrel scam.

In his motion, Revilla informed the anti-graft court’s First Division that he is qualified to undergo implant placement after his dentist at the Gan Advanced Osseointegration Center (GAOC) in Makati put fillings on his cavities.

Revilla then asked the court’s permission for him to undergo first stage implant surgery on July 13, post-operation check-up on July 16, and suture removal and stayplate denture reline on July 23, at at 2 p.m. at the ground floor of The Residences, Greenbelt Center, Makati.

“From the foregoing, Senator Revilla respectfully beseeches this Honorable Court that he be allowed to undergo the recommended dental procedures stated above,” Revilla said in his motion.
