Dentist killed in Makati clinic robbery

A dentist was shot dead by robbers who broke into her dental clinic in Makati City Wednesday afternoon.

SPO2 Rico Caramat of Makati police identified the victim as Raquel Magsalin, 38, a resident of Taguig City.

The initial investigation showed that two men entered Magsalin’s clinic located at 9547 Kalayaan Avenue, Barangay Guadalupe Nuevo, around 2 p.m.

The robbers tied up the dentist’s aide before grabbing Magsalin’s bag, Caramat said.

Magsalin was shot in the head as she put up a struggle, the officer said, quoting the aide who witnessed the assault.

The attackers fled on a motorcycle toward C5 Road going to Taguig City.

A manhunt for the assailants was ongoing at press time.
