2 killed by motorcycle-riding gunmen in Isabela
ALICIA, Isabela—Two women were shot and killed by motorcycle-riding gunmen on Saturday night along Sitio Rang-ay, San Juan village here, police said.
Datic Lagbao, 45, and her 78-year-old mother-in-law Agustina Lagbao were riding home on a motorcycle from their farm when they were attacked at 11:15 p.m., said Supt. Narciso Paragas, Isabela police spokesperson.
Police are exploring the possibility that the women were involved in a land dispute. RAM/rga
