Teacher killed, daughter hurt in Pangasinan motorcycle crash

URDANETA CITY, Philippines—A motorcycle crashed into a delivery truck killing a high school teacher and injuring her daughter on Friday.
Myrna Eugenio, 50, who was driving the motorcycle, died while being taken to a hospital. Her 14-year-old daughter Mariel is currently being treated at the Sacred Heart Hospital here, according to Supt. Jeff Fanged, police chief.
They left their house in Catablan village at 4:45 a.m. Their motorcycle crashed into the back of an aluminum Isuzu elf truck that was about to execute a left turn to a warehouse in Pinmaludpod village. RAM/rga
