Marcos to ‘happily’ accept any Cabinet post offer

Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. on Wednesday said he would happily accept any position that will be offered to him by President-elect Rodrigo Duterte.

Duterte earlier admitted that he and the Marcoses were close. The President-elect even said he has not committed to giving Vice President-elect Ma. Leonor “Leni” Robredo a Cabinet position because he does not want to hurt Marcos’ feelings.

Marcos has asked the Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET) to nullify the proclamation of Robredo.

Marcos said an offer of any position by any president is considered an order.

“If you have been offered any position by any President, that is tantamount to an order from the President so, of course, I would happily take on any responsibility,” he said. RAM
