Retired police general’s wife, daughter die in QC fire
The wife and daughter of a retired police general died when a fire hit their house in Barangay Batasan Hills in Quezon City on Monday morning.
Radyo Inquirer reported that the fire at the house of retired-general Ismael Rafanan at No. 11, Block 4, Courage Street, Capitol Estate II, started at about 7:30 a.m.

The fire was raised to the third alarm at 8:01 a.m.

After the fire was put out, the remains of the wife and daughter were found on the second floor of the house.
Authorities identified the casualties as Marilyn Rafanan, 69, and her daughter Stara Rafanan, 27.
