3 bodies with gunshot wounds found in Oriental Mindoro
CITY OF CALAPAN—Three unidentified cadavers, two male and a female, were found in Bongabong town in Oriental Mindoro on Friday morning.
Senior Insp. Lawrence Panganiban, acting chief of police in Bongabong, revealed that children stopped the vehicle of Vice Mayor Richard Candelario at around 8 a.m. to show him the three bloodied dead bodies at Sitio Km. 7, Barangay San Juan. Candelario immediately reported the incident to police.
Panganiban said investigators found gunshot wounds on the heads of the victims. A team from the scene of the crime operatives was called into the area to conduct an investigation.
The cadavers were brought to a local funeral parlor in Bongabong to undergo autopsy.
