From 500 guests, Andanar said 627 guests will be present at the inauguration.

Duterte, who will wear a barong Tagalog and slacks, will arrive at the Malacañang Palace at 10:30 a.m for the “salubong” with outgoing President Benigno Aquino III.

The inauguration rites will start at 12 p.m. and end at 3:00 p.m.

Andanar said Dutere would administer the oath of his Cabinet members after his own oath-taking.

The incoming president will not have the traditional Vin d’Honneur, Andanar said. There will only be a “diplomatic reception” instead.

Andanar, however, could not confirm whether vice president-elect Ma. Leonor “Leni” Robredo would be invited at the event.

Andanar assured that Duterte would “hit the ground running” after his inauguration. RAM
