Duterte names Health, Tourism, Trade secretaries
DAVAO CITY—President-elect Rodrigo Duterte on Monday evening named three addition to his Cabinet—secretaries for the Departments of Health, Tourism, and Trade and Industry.
In a video released to the media, incoming deputy presidential spokesperson Ernie Abella said Duterte has chosen assistant health secretary Dr. Paulyn Jean Rosell-Ubial as DOH chief.
Duterte also picked Wanda Corazon Teo, owner of Mt. Apo Travel and Tours, as tourism secretary.
Teo, sister of journalist Ramon Tulfo, is also the president of National Association & Independent Travel Agencies (NAITAS) Phil. Inc., which claims to be the “biggest tourism organization in the country.”
Businessman Ramon Lopez, executive director of Go Negosyo, was also named trade and industry secretary.
