Fuel prices up anew

INCREASED demand and continuing supply disruptions in Nigeria, among other reasons, caused fuel prices to rise again this week.

Shell, Seaoil and Flying V raised gasoline prices by 35 centavos per liter, diesel by 40 centavos per liter and kerosene by 55 centavos per liter.

Phoenix Petroleum, PTT Philippines, Eastern Petroleum and Unioil increased gasoline prices by 35 centavos per liter and diesel by 40 centavos per liter. These firms do not sell kerosene.

Production outages in Canada due to wildfires and the political crisis in oil-exporting Venezuela added to supply concerns, according to the Department of Energy. Riza T. Olchondra
