Thunderstorm affecting Metro Manila, nearby provinces—Pagasa

The state weather bureau on Saturday afternoon issued a thunderstorm advisory in the National Capital Region and surrounding areas.

In an advisory issued at 2:17 p.m., the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said thunderstorm is affecting Marikina City, Pasig City, and Bagumbayan in Quezon City; Tanay and Antipolo in Rizal; Sta. Maria in Laguna; GenNakar, Real, and San Antonio in Quezon province; and Rosario and Padre Garcia in Batangas.

Pagasa said the thunderstorm may persist within the next two hours.

Thunderstorm is also expected over Pampanga, Bulacan, Zambales, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, and other areas of Metro Manila, Rizal, Quezon, Laguna, and Batangas in the next two hours.
