Every day, meteorologists are brave enough to deal with reports on ‘scary weather nightmares’ such as upcoming typhoons, hurricanes, and other man-made disasters. So, it came as a big surprise and amusement to watch how a spider made one American weatherman shriek in fright when it fell on his weather map during a live broadcast last week.
West Virginia weatherman Bryan Hughes blasted a high-pitched scream as the spider crawled on the camera lens before he was about to report the “Weather Eye” segment on local channel WOWK 13 News.
“Argh! Jeez Louise!” Hughes screeched. He then walked way from the camera and after he mitigated his terror and laughed with his colleagues, he muttered, “Why did that just happen? I nearly lost my lunch…Oh man, saints alive, we’ve gotta get out there and kill those things.”
Although the ‘eight-legged creature’ was miniature, the camera’s projection made it look gargantuan.
The weatherman even tweeted his epic reaction on social media site Twitter.
