The son of Sen. Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., accused the administration of cheating in the elections amid his father’s close fight with rival Rep. Leni Robredo, to which the latter’s daughter had a quick retort.

On Monday night, Ferdinand Alexander “Sandro” Marcos said on Twitter that the total number of votes for president and vice president did not match.

“Also the total votes for President are not the same total for the Vice President. What the hell #DayaangMatuwid,” he said.

The tweet was later taken down, but Marcos said he did not delete it on purpose.

“Didn’t delete my tweet, wouldn’t be saying this otherwise. Frustration and anger get the best of us. I guess tomorrow na lang makita,” he posted a few hours later after the original post.

Also on Monday night, the daughter of Robredo, Aika, posted a photo quote on Facebook: “Walang #DayaangMatuwid. Ang mayroon lang ay #ProgresiBongMandaramBong.”

The photo quote’s caption was: “Never again!! Laban Leni!! Ang laban ni Leni ay laban nating lahat. Papasok palang ang mga boto sa balwarte natin!! Sabay-sabay tayong magdasal at lumaban ‪#‎LabanLeni.”

As of 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Robredo had 13,341,232 votes while Marcos had 13,178,696 votes for a difference of 162,536.

The results are based on 74.66 percent of the total votes cast based on unofficial results from the Comelec Transparency Server./rga
