Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte has maintained a wide lead in the five-person race to presidency with 38.69 percent of votes in an initially tally while the next candidate, administration bet Mar Roxas only has 23.23 percent out of 73.79 percent of the votes counted as of 7:59 a.m. Tuesday.
On the other hand, Camarines Sur Representative Leni Robredo is neck and neck with Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. in the vice presidential race. Robredo has 13,176,490 votes while Marcos has 13,076,332 votes.

In the Senatorial race, Senator Franklin Drilon is now in the lead with 17,262,019 followed closely by former Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) head Joel Villanueva with 17,260,288 votes.
Although the result is partial and unofficial, the figures came from the Commission on Elections (Comelec) mirror server, housed at the Pope Pius XII Catholic Center in Manila. So far, the counted votes is already 73.79 percent or 41,127,181 out of 55,737,757 registered voters.
