15-minute blaze hits house of Or. Mindoro solon

CITY OF CALAPAN — A 15-minute fire hit a room in the house of Oriental Mindoro Rep. Paulino Salvador Leachon in Barangay Lalud in this city on Monday night but no one was reported hurt, reports from the city’s Public Safety Department (PSD) said.
Ningning Dayo, a radio and telephone operator at PSD, said their office received a call at 9:02 p.m. regarding the blaze.

Personnel of the Bureau of Fire Protection and volunteers put out the fire at about 9:20 p.m.

BFP personnel had yet to determine what caused the fire and the amount of damage.  SFM
