Displaced people in Zamboanga City fail to cast votes

ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines—Hundreds of internally displaced persons temporarily housed in the transitory sites in Masepla in Barangay (village) Mampang here failed to cast their votes as their names were nowhere to be found on the master list prepared by the Commission on Elections.

Sauda Sana, 23, and Bandera Idjani 70, both Badjaos originally living in Barangay Mariki, said they were able to vote in 2013. RAM/rga
