Voter protests after receipt showed Roxas instead of Duterte
ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines—Voter Mida Lili of Barangay (village) Baliwasan here filed a complaint before the board of election inspectors (BEI) in her precinct at Baliwasan Central School on Monday after her voter receipt showed another candidate’s name.
“I voted for (Rodrigo) Duterte but (Mar) Roxas name came out,” Lili said.
She said she immediately called the attention of the BEI and filed a protest. RAM/rga
