90-year-old woman first to cast vote in Marikina precinct

At 5:30 in the morning on election day, already patiently waiting to cast her vote was 90-year-old Angela Dimaandal.

Sitting on her wheelchair, she passed the time chatting with the election officers and a fellow voter.

Dimaandal finished casting her vote at 6:15 a.m., around 30 minutes after the polling precinct at the Nativity of Our Lady School in Marikina  opened.

When asked how she was, the nonagenarian voter smiled, saying she was okay and was thankful that the weather was not that hot. CDG/rga
