Robredo finally casts vote in Naga after delay

NAGA CITY–Vice presidential aspirant Ma. Leonor “Leni” Robredo finally cast her vote on Monday after a technical malfunction prevented her from doing so earlier.

A broken vote counting machine (VCM) at Precinct 119 inside Tabuco Elementary School caused the nearly hour-long delay.

Robredo is a congresswoman from Camarines Sur and has been tabbed by presidential candidate Manuel “Mar” Roxas II as his running mate.

Tricia and Aika, Robredo’s two daughters, were ahead in line but were forced as well to wait due to the busted VCM.

Robredo arrived at Tabuco Elementary School around 9:35 a.m. but was able to cast her vote past 11 a.m. RAM
