Wrong ballots delay voting in 5 Cotabato precincts

KIDAPAWAN CITY, Philippines—Voting in five precincts in Magpet town, Cotabato was delayed for at least an hour after board of election inspectors found out that the ballots they had were meant for other precincts.

Ramon Jaranilla, the Magpet election officer, said they speedily acted on the problem and interchanged the ballots between precincts 4A, 4B, 5a, 5b, and 5c and Barangay (village) Bongolanon.
