DAVAO CITY – Presidential frontrunner Rodrigo Duterte will be voting at around 2 p.m. Monday, his spokesperson, Peter Laviña said.
“He will vote between 2 to 3 p.m.,” Laviña said.
The Davao City mayor will be the last to vote among the presidential candidates. Vice President Jejomar Binay voted early morning in Makati. He was followed by Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago in Quezon City, former secretary Mar Roxas in Capiz and Senator Grace Poe in San Juan.
The mayor’s voting precinct at the Daniel Aguinaldo National High School is just 2.8 kilometers away from his residence on Sapphire Street in Dona Luisa Village in Matina District.
Duterte and his daughter Sara, who is making a comeback as city mayor, will be casting their votes inside the “Aster” room.
Duterte will have to walk a few meters from the gate to his polling precinct, since vehicles are not allowed to enter the school premise. Dennis Jay Santos, Inquirer Mindanao/KS
