THE CHILDREN of a retired private sector employee can now put up businesses of their own after he won the more than P22-million jackpot prize in the 6/42 Lotto draw on April 7.

When the 75-year-old father claimed his winnings recently, he told Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) vice chair and general manager Jose Ferdinand Rojas II that he would donate part of his winnings to a local church and put aside another portion for his and his wife’s future needs.

The rest would be divided among his five kids to allow them to start their own businesses, said the winner who lives on a pension.
