HACKERS on Monday night defaced the website of DZMM, ABS-CBN’s national radio.
Anonymous Philippines and Bloodsec International claimed responsibility for the cyber attack.
Blood Sec Hackers, in a Facebook post, claimed that it leaked the radio station’s full database.
News stories and livestream of the radio programs can’t be accessed as of writing time.
“Our minds are constantly being invaded by legions of half-truths, prejudices, and false facts.. One of the great needs of mankind is to be lifted above the morass of false propaganda,” the hacked website reads.
“Media manipulation and bias reporting, ABS-CBN, we are watching,” Anonymous Philippines said in a Facebook post.
Hackers recently defaced the official website of the Commission on Elections to call for the implementation of full security features of the Precinct Count Optical Scan (Pcos) machines.
“One of the processes by which people exercise their sovereignty is through voting in an election- where people choose the candidates who will best represent them, who will serve them under the principle that ‘Public office is a public trust,’” the group said.
