Where to watch Pacquiao-Bradley fight
JUST like his previous fights, boxing champ Manny Pacquiao’s third match with Timothy Bradley on Sunday, April 10, will be aired live in seven venues in Manila free of charge, courtesy of the city government.
City Hall media bureau information officer Bambi Purisima said on Thursday that Manila councilors and barangay officials had been tasked to distribute tickets to any of the following venues:
San Andres Sports Complex in Malate,
Rizal Avenue covered court at the corner of Alvarez Street and Rizal Avenue in Sta. Cruz,
Delpan Sports Complex in Binondo near Delpan Bridge,
Tondo Sports Complex at the corner of N. Zamora and Morga Streets in front of Sto. Niño Church,
Sarmiento covered court on Teresa Street in Sta. Mesa (near the Polytechnic University of the Philippines),
Tolentino (formerly Dapitan) Sports Complex on the corner of Dapitan and Instruccion Streets in Sampaloc, and
Patricia covered court on Flora Street in Gagalangin, Tondo.
Purisima assured non-ticket holders that they would also be accommodated at any of the venues although those with tickets, particularly senior citizens and persons with disabilities, would be given priority.
The Pacquiao-Bradley fight will also be shown free at the Armed Forces of the Philippines headquarters in Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City, for military personnel and their families.
According to Col. Noel Detoyato, AFP public affairs office chief, the live screening has become a customary treat for soldiers who “really love to watch boxing and basketball, too.”
Other military camps are also arranging live screenings of the fight for their personnel, he added.
The fight which will be held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, is the third encounter between the two boxers. Bradley won the first fight in 2012 only to be defeated in their second match-up in 2014. Annelle Tayao-Juego and Julie M. Aurelio
