Smoke prompts evacuation at Congress building

Smoke coming from an air-conditioning unit prompted the evacuation of the employees in a building at the House of Representatives on Wednesday.

In a report by Radyo Inquirer, the smoke filled the third floor of the Ramon V. Mitra Building on Wednesday morning.

The report said that the House of Representatives’ fire department has promptly put out the smoke.
