Senator Grace Poe said she would continue to pray for a “favorable” ruling of the Supreme Court, despite reports that it has already upheld its earlier decision that she is qualified to join next month’s presidential race.
“We could not comment yet as the decision reported in the news article came from a source,” Poe said in a statement on Wednesday.
“We will wait for the SC to release the decision. We continue to pray for a favorable ruling,” she added.
The high tribunal has reportedly junked all three motions for reconsideration against its March 8 decision, reversing the Commission on Elections’ cancellation of Poe’s certificate of candidacy for president because of her citizenship and residency issues.
