MANILA — A college student from Pasig City will graduate as a multi-millionaire with a business to boot, as he claimed on Monday close to P33-million in jackpot prize he won in the March 28 draw of the Mega Lotto 6/45.

Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) Vice Chair and General Manager Jose Ferdinand Rojas II said that the 19-year-old winner was the sole player to correctly pick the winning number combination 20-24-19-44-16-30. He took home exactly P32,940,388.

The winner told Rojas that he would use his prize to buy a house and lot for his parents. But even if he has won a fortune, the winner said he would strive to finish his schooling so that he could manage well the business he would put up.

Rojas, however, said that the winner has not decided on the type of business he would invest his money in.

The winner, who started playing a year ago, bought two tickets to win the jackpot prize. He told Rojas that he got his number combination from his age and the birth dates of his family.  SFM
