DAVAO CITY – Elizabeth Zimmerman-Duterte, the former wife of presidential aspirant Rodrigo Duterte, is literally on board to campaign for the city mayor.

Elizabeth joined the “Byaheng DU30,” a 30-day to campaign for the Duterte’s candidacy. They left early Tuesday en route to the Visayas.

Although still battling cancer, Elizabeth decided to stop her radiation sessions to come out and help in the campaign.

“She wants to meet her fellow Filipinos and answer their questions about Rody,” the Byaheng DU30 Facebook page said.

“I wanted to help him because he is still part of my family, he is the father of my children. We may be annulled in court but we were also married in the Church and the Catholic Church never annulled our marriage,” she said.
