Binay hopes for ‘fresh start, clarity of mind’ for Filipinos on Easter
“Share your blessings even with your enemies.”
So said Vice President Jejomar Binay on Saturday as he urged Filipinos to unite in bringing “genuine and lasting comfort to everyone.”
“Let us share the blessings of God with those who are in need, underprivileged, misunderstood,”Binay said in his Easter message to Filipinos.
“Let us share His blessings and grace even with our enemies, so that we may foster a nation united in bringing genuine and lasting comfort to everyone,” he added.
The vice president said the leaders of the country must show deep love for the people.

The United Nationalist Alliance (UNA) standard-bearer urged Filipinos to have “clarity of mind” in the upcoming May national elections.
“Let us all pray for clarity of mind in the coming elections and for the strength to forge ahead,”he said.
Each of Filipino, he said, “must embrace the duty to raise our nation from injustice, inequality, corruption and self-interest.”
He said that our celebration of Easter should be a “fresh beginning” and inspire us to face challenges with love and faith.
“Faith in a better future for 26 million Filipinos who remain poor. Faith in the power of the people to chart their own destinies,” he said.
“Love for a nation that has cradled men and women who have stood up against tyranny in whatever form,” he added. CDG
