2,046 out of 2,596 pass medical technologists board exam

A total of 2,046 out of 2,596 have passed the March 2016 medical technologists licensure examination, the Professional Regulation Commission announced Wednesday.

Jhamaica Emmyrose Ferrer Aboy of Centro Escolar University in Manila topped the examination with a rating of 90.6 percent.

Starting March 28, 2016, PRC said the registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration would be done online.

PRC said those who failed the board exam but obtained a general rating of at least 70 percent could register as medical laboratory technician.
