New chief takes over at OMB
THE OPTICAL Media Board (OMB) Monday welcomed its new chair and chief executive officer, Anselmo Adriano, who took over from actor Ronnie Ricketts who is facing charges.
Among other posts, Adriano was director of the Consumer Protection and Advocacy of the Department of Trade and Industry. He also served as councilor of Santa Maria, Bulacan.
Ricketts and four other OMB officials were suspended in 2014 for allegedly ordering the return of confiscated pirated CDs to suspected manufacturers. Jodee A. Agoncillo
