St. Luke’s Global denies Santiago admitted

/ 04:11 PM March 10, 2016

St. Luke’s Medical Center Global City has denied that Sen. Miriam Defensor Santiago has been admitted in the Taguig City hospital.

Jun Manibon of the hospital’s admissions department on Thursday said Santiago’s name was not in the healthcare directory, which he said recorded all patients admitted both through the admissions and emergency departments.

Nica Bartolome, manager at the emergency department, refused to confirm or deny if Santiago had at any point been admitted there, saying hospital personnel were not allowed under hospital policy to reveal the identities of patients who are admitted in the medical institution.
