Erap praises SC rule on Poe but makes no endorsement
Former President and current Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada is still undecided on who to endorse for President but said that he will have his candidate before end of March.
“I have not decided yet. We have to really study [because] this involves the future of the 100-million Filipinos,” Estrada told reporters at the sidelights of the 21st annual convention of the Philippine Women Judges Association.

Estrada said the recent Supreme Court decision reversing the disqualification of Senator Grace Poe will be one of the factors he will consider.
“Of course of course. It’s better. The people will be given the chance to choose. More candidates, the better for the people,” he said.
Article continues after this advertisementBut he noted that personal ties are not a factor. Estrada is close to Poe and Vice President Jejomar Binay.
He said it should be “the interest of the people before anything else.”
When asked if he will join the campaign of his preferred candidates, “you know I will charge them money for my personal appearance. Mahal ako [I am expensive].”
