The camp of Vice President Jejomar Binay on Friday said they are thankful for the results of the latest Pulse Asia presidential survey.
In the said poll conducted February 15 to 20, Binay, with a preference rating of 25 percent, was in a statistical tie with Senator Grace Poe (26 percent).

“Vice President Binay remains grateful for the trust and support of our people,” Binay spokesperson Mon Ilagan said in a statement. “He is offering to them a decisive and compassionate presidency that will address their concerns, with poverty being his top priority.”
However, he said they “expect that with every rise in the survey results, the demolition by perception being waged by lethargic candidates will intensify.”
“The Vice President will not be distracted from his determination to serve the people,” he added.
Ilagan said the Vice President is focusing on “work,” which is his main solution to poverty, as he campaigns all over the country.
Following Poe and Binay in the Pulse Asia survey are Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte and former Interior secretary Manuel “Mar” Roxas II (both with 21 percent), and Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago (with three percent). CDG
