LAPU LAPU CITY, Cebu – Former Interior secretary Mar Roxas has no time to give attention to his number one critic and “fan”–Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte.
Asked to react on Duterte’s latest criticism against him, the Liberal Party standard-bearer let out a sigh and said: “Hay nako, wala akong panahon para sa aking number one fan. ‘Yun na lang. Thank you very much.”
(O well, I have no time for my number one fan. That’s it. Thank you very much.)
In a Pangasinan sortie, Duterte criticized Roxas anew for his performance as the head of the Department of Interior and Local Government during the onslaught of super typhoon Yolanda.
“If you can’t handle (super typhoon) Yolanda, you’re not a man… Where are the billions of funds for Yolanda? Until now there’s no accounting for the funds yet,” said the mayor.
