CEBU CITY – A 40-year-old woman was killed while her female lover was wounded after two unidentified men barged into their house at Sitio Laguna in Barangay (village) Sambag 1, Cebu City on Wednesday night and shot them.

Trevelisa Navales, a businesswoman, died of multiple gunshot wounds, according to the police.

Her lover, Riza Pepito, 18, suffered three bullet wounds in the body and was confined at the Cebu City Medical Center (CCMC) on Natalio Bacalso Avenue.

SPO2 Ruth Violango, Cebu City Police Office homicide investigator, said the two men went to Navales’ residence past 9 p.m. on Thursday, looking for her son whom they accused of pickpocketing.

When Navales told them that she did not know where her son was, the two men shot her and Pepito. CDG
