/ 11:05 PM February 19, 2016

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY—Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan, a Jesuit-run school, will conduct a mock election ahead of the Feb. 21 presidential debate to be held here.

The simulated election was scheduled yesterday and today in two locations inside the campus and will be open to all students, members of the faculty and staff of the university.

The activity was initiated by the school’s Kristohanong Katilingban sa Pagpakabana-Social Involvement Office (KKP-SIO).

“It is hoped that through this mock election, we may be able to foster that desire for active participation,” said KKP-SIO in a statement. Jigger Jerusalem, Inquirer Mindanao
