Vice President Jejomar Binay dropped by the SM Mall of Asia to buy eye glasses after he toured the barangays in Pasay City on Monday.

Upon entering the mall, a crowd of mall goers surrounded the opposition presidential candidate hoping to snap a picture with Binay.

Binay ambled to the optical store, stopping every now and then to pose for pictures with his supporters.

Binay also took a time to talk with the mallgoers and shake their hands.

One mallgoer flashed an L sign while taking a picture with Binay.

The man seemed to be sporting the “Laban” hand gesture of the Liberal Party, a reference to the “Laban” sign for the presidential bid of Cory Aquino after the 1986 Edsa Revolution.

Binay then had lunch at the food court before returning to the optical store.

Binay’s camp handed out flyers, which urged supporters to “like” Binay’s social media accounts, as well as dark-colored rosary bracelets to the mallgoers.

Binay is set to visit the barangays of Parañaque in resuming his campaign on the same day.
