KIDAPAWAN CITY, Philippines—A three-year-old boy was seriously wounded Thursday when a domestic pig turned vicious and attacked him in a remote village in Pikit, North Cotabato, the police said Friday.

Senior Superintendent Cornelio Salinas, North Cotabato police chief, identified the victim as Laugo Amado of Barangay Paidupulangi.

Salinas said the boy was playing in the yard while his parents were busy working when one of pigs the family was raising suddenly went berserk.
