Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption (VACC) founding president Lauro Vizconde passed away on Saturday, according to a VACC official.
“Ka Lauro Vizconde just joined his family and our God now,” said VACC chair Dante Jimenez.
Vizconde on Friday suffered a fourth cardiac arrest and was confined at the intensive care unit of Unihealth–Parañaque City.
Jimenez said Vizconde died with life support.
Vizconde founded the VACC following the death of his wife and two daughters in their own home in 1991. Yuji Vincent Gonzales with reports from Kristine Mangunay, Philippine Daily Inquirer/RC
