PANGASINAN, Philippines– For third straight day this Friday, candidates of the Partido Galing at Puso (PGP) campaigned in vote-rich provinces in the country since the campaign period officially kicked off last Tuesday.
From Cebu last Wednesday and in the Ilocos region on Thursday, the team is now in this home province of late action star Fernando Poe Jr., the adoptive father of PGP’s standard-bearer, Senator Grace Poe.

Poe’s running mate, Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero, was the first to arrive here.
Escudero will be joined later at the University of Pangasinan by some senatorial candidates.
Among those expected at the University are Senator Vicente “Tito” Sotto III, former Senators Richard Gordon and Juan Miguel Zubiri, Congressmen Samuel Pagdilao, Sherwin Gatchalian, and Roman Romulo, actor Edu Manzano, and migrant workers’ advocate Susan “Tots” Ople.
Poe is also expected to join them later.
After the school visit, the candidates will hold a press conference before proceeding to the Virgen Milagros University in San Carlos City.
A political rally that will be held at the DepEd Central 2 in San Carlos City from 4:30 pm to 7:00 p.m. would be the highlight of their visit here. CDG
