Fire caused by unattended cooking razes 30 houses in Tondo

A fire caused by unattended cooking razed 30 houses in the slum of area of Tondo, Manila on Thursday afternoon.

The fire that reached Task Force Delta at Barangay 160 Raha Bago left one injured and 90 families homeless.

It was placed under control at 2:03 p.m. and declared out at 4:25 p.m. after more than a hundred fire trucks responded on site.

The Manila fire district said the blaze started in the kitchen of a certain Michael Castillo. YG with reports from Aie Balagtas See, Philippine Daily Inquirer
