A 5.2-magnitude earthquake jolted the province of Quezon on Friday afternoon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
According to Phivolcs, the quake was tectonic in origin, with a depth of 5 kilometers and recorded at 1:00 p.m.
The quake was located at 13.79°N, 122.30°E – 012 km S 20° East of Lopez, Quezon.
Phivolcs said the quake was also felt in the following areas:
Intensity V – Guinayangan, Quezon
Intensity III – Mulanay, Quezon
Instrumental Intensities:
Intensity IV – Mulanay & Guinayangan, Quezon
Intensity II – Gumaca, Quezon; Camarines Norte
Intensity I – Rosario, Quezon. YG/RAM
