5.5-magnitude quake jolts Surigao del Norte
A 5.5-magnitude quake was felt on Thursday night off the coast of General Luna town in Surigao del Norte province, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said Thursday.
Recorded at 9:14 pm at 37 kilometers southeast of General Luna, the quake was 11 kilometers deep and was tectonic in origin, Phivolcs said.

Intensity 4 was recorded at Carrascal, Surigao del Sur and Intensity 3 at Butuan City and Tandag City.
