CEBU CITY, Philippines — The police seized at least P2 million worth of shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Bugho, San Fernando town in southern Cebu about 3 a.m. on Thursday.

Arrested were Castro Barrameda, a native of Dumanjug town, southern Cebu and six men who were allegedly having a pot session at the time when the police barged in.

Chief Insp. Richard Gadingan of the San Fernando police said they received a tip from residents on Barrameda’s alleged drug dealings.
