High-ranking police officials are involved in illegal drug activities, Davao City Mayor Rodrigo alleged on Wednesday.
Duterte said at least three high- ranking officials of the Philippine National Police (PNP) are involved in drug activities.

“Many police generals in Metro Manila are involved in drug activities,” he said.
The tough-talking mayor, however, refused to identify the said officials.
“I am not in the authority,” he said.
He warned police officials involved in drug activities to get out of the police force once he gets elected as president.
“Kung manalo ako, umalis na sila (If I win, they better leave),” he said, referring to erring police officials.
“Drugs, crimes and corruption must stop immediately,” he said.
He reiterated his promise to end criminality and illegal drug activities in the Philippines.

“I will use the presidency to restore peace and order in this country,” he said. IDL
