The Supreme Court on Tuesday resumed its oral arguments on the disqualification cases against presidential aspirant Senator Grace Poe before the Commission on Elections over questions hounding her citizenship and residency requirements.
This is the third time the Supreme Court justices, Poe and her supporters, and the petitioners are meeting to hear the merits of the cases.

Last December, the Comelec en banc ruled to cancel Poe’s certificate of candidacy for president in the upcoming national elections, on grounds that she was not a natural-born Filipino citizen and that she failed to meet the 10-year residency requirement.
But the high court issued temporary restraining orders against the poll body’s decision to disqualify Poe from the presidential derby.
In an initial list released to the public, Comelec still included Poe’s name in the presidential race despite the disqualification cases.
