Batangas’ ‘most wanted’ arrested

BATANGAS CITY – The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) in Batangas province has arrested the number one wanted person in the province in the village of San Bartolome in Sto. Tomas town on Tuesday morning, police said.
Chief Inspector Danilo Balmes, the CIDG-Batangas provincial officer, said Joel Leycano, 47, was nabbed inside his safehouse in San Bartolome around 9 a.m. Tuesday.

Leycano has been wanted for three years for the murder in this city of retired police officer Gil Tena in 2012, he said. CDG
