The Iglesia ni Cristo will file a case to eject the expelled Manalo siblings from the disputed Tandang Sora compound in Quezon City, church spokesperson Edwil Zabala said on Thursday.
Zabala and lawyer Moises Tolentino Jr. made the announcement in a press briefing at the Eagle Broadcasting Corp.
Felix Nathaniel “Angel” Manalo and Lolita “Lottie” Manalo-Hemedez, estranged siblings of INC executive minister Eduardo V. Manalo, have been holed up in the compound since the internal rift became public.

The INC, represented by Radel Cortez, earlier filed a petition for injunction to bar visitors at the compound.
Hemedez is expected to testify in the injunction case and claim ownership of the Tandang Sora property.
“Nais naming bigyang diin na ang buong compound sa No. 36 Tandang Sora ay pagmamay-ari ng Iglesia ni Cristo. Subalit ang karapatang ito ay niyuyurakan pa ng kampo nina Ginoong Angel at Ginang Lottie,” Zabala said.
(We reiterate that the compound on No. 36 Tandang Sora is owned by Iglesia ni Cristo. But the church’s right to it is violated by the camp of Mr. Angel and Mrs. Lottie.)
